Central Alberta Theatre

This was one of those Mr. Murphy sessions. It started with the trip to Red Deer and our friendly Sherrif’s department thinking that I probably had a really good looking picture on my driver’s licence so they wanted to check it out for themselves. So that put us behind to start with. Then when we finally get to the theatre and start to setup, discover that my wireless triggers have picked today to stop working. No problem, just switch over to a cord, whoops, forgot the cord. So now we try to work with optical slaves, except the only way I have to trip the optical slaves is to use the on-camera flash, which even on manual decides it is going to control the light, and the exposures are all over the place. But because this is theatre, and the show must go on, I ened up shutting off the strobes, and just using the modeling lights to light the portraits.

Once the lighting issue was worked out, then it was on to doing the head shots of the cast and crew. Irreplaceable Memories Photography - Central Alberta Photographer - Olds, Didsbury, Penhold, Red Deer, Blackfalds, Lacombe, Three Hills, Trochu, Drumheller, Imphoto Blog 20130921-_DS39425 Central Alberta Theatre Irreplaceable Memories Photography - Central Alberta Photographer - Olds, Didsbury, Penhold, Red Deer, Blackfalds, Lacombe, Three Hills, Trochu, Drumheller, Imphoto Blog 20130921-_DS39453 Dawn Harkema Barbara Jean Adams Bill Loov
